With an extensive background that encompasses selling, providing technical support, and delivering continuous educational support for a wide range of products—from simple instruments to advanced surgical image guidance and stereotactic radiosurgery systems—Mark’s career is marked by innovation and dedication to improving surgical outcomes.

In his early career, Mark spent several years specializing in the sales and support of spinal implants and instrumentation. This experience led him to invent IntraOsteal Navigation and Interrogation (IONI) Technologies, a groundbreaking advancement designed to enhance surgical precision and safety across multiple neuro and orthopedic diagnostic and therapeutic applications. Mark holds the first two patents for this transformative technology.

Mark’s inspiration for IONI Technologies stemmed from his initial experiences with spine surgery, where he was struck by the “primitive” nature of vertebral pedicle screw placement techniques during spinal fusion surgeries. This revelation fueled his commitment to innovate and improve these surgical procedures.
